Our sanctuary is always full. Our caretakers are tired. Our rescuers need to spend more time with their families. Our pockets are dry. We need a breather. We need sponsors. But it's so hard when so many need help.
We were on our way home after dinner when we found this dog in San Antonio, Baybay. He was weak, barely able to see and covered in tumors. How can anyone look away?
We are lucky with the helping hands we have. Together with volunteer rescuer Cy Anisco dela Cruz, a new blood of volunteers came by to contain the dog for vetting at St. Clare Veterinary Clinic where he will get chemotherapy sessions to cure his TVT (transmissible venereal tumor) that spreads through sexual contact or licking, sniffing or scratching. Unfortunately, his eyes are severely affected. Each chemo session costs P2500 and he will need at least 5 sessions.
If you want to help or sponsor this dog's treatment, our Gcash is 09176808026.
Please, ipakapon inyo mga alaga so they don't roam when they're in heat and/or become susceptible to dogs with TVT. If you love your pets, #KaponAngSolusyon.
